Are you an experienced ICT Buyer looking for your next challenge? Renewi, a leader in sustainable waste management, is seeking a skilled ICT procurement professional to join our team. As an ICT Buyer, you will play a key role in managing and optimizing our ICT procurement processes, ensuring that we source the best technology solutions to support our business goals.

Lead Buyer ICT (fulltime)
Location: can be anywhere in Belgium or the Netherlands as long as you are willing to visit our sites, where Eindhoven is the HQ for IT

With the launch of Microsoft Dynamics as our fully integrated ERP, we’re reshaping the future of Renewi. This is a unique opportunity for our ICT Buyer to play a pivotal role. Together with a Contract Manager, you will oversee end-to-end vendor management, drive strategic supplier relationships, and be at the forefront of cost efficiency initiatives that support our revenue streams.

Your contributions will be crucial as we strive for excellence in procurement, making a real business impact to our topline, bottom line and cash positions. What will you do?

Work closely with the IT department and various business units to understand their technology needs and provide the best procurement solutions.
Propose and align on sourcing strategies for the ICT area; source and manage suppliers for the ICT domain, including hardware, software, IT and communication infrastructure.
Negotiate commercial contracts and service level agreements to secure cost-effective and high-quality technology solutions.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and standards in all IT sourcing activities.
Monitor supplier performance to ensure service levels are met and identify areas for cost savings and process improvements.
Stay up to date on the latest IT trends and source innovative technology that can enhance Renewi’s operations.

What we believe will help to be successful in this job:

Love for ICT.
You understand IT trends and technology solutions, but also our IT colleagues and their needs. You are experienced in IT procurement with strong knowledge of sourcing hardware, software, and IT services. You have proven track record in delivering overall value in this domain (value in / cost out / cash generation).

Love for procurement.
Finding joy in making procurement cool! Procurement category management experience of minimum 8 years; ability to create sourcing strategies, organize your portfolio for long term success, strong executional capabilities (eye for details, go getter mindset).
Love for your stakeholders.
Strong soft skills – connection, collaboration and communication skills. You are driven to make a difference with and for your stakeholders, keep connecting suppliers capabilities to our business needs.

Experience helps as we go through on our procurement transformation: you have seen how good looks like – you are coming from well recognized procurement organizations and you have:

Ability to manage suppliers across multiple regions and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
A problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement.
