Head of Finance – Inbound Sales & Marketing
Full-time | Hybrid working | Base location flexible (1 2 2 days /week in Eindhoven and Amersfoort)

In this pivotal role, you will provide financial leadership for our commercial strategies. You’ll work closely with our sales, marketing, and pricing teams and act as the strategic finance partner to the Director of Inbound Sales & Marketing. Together, you’ll fuel sustainable growth and help position Renewi as the go-to partner for circular solutions.
Your Mission:
- Lead & develop a high-performing finance team: You coach and guide a team of finance professionals supporting commercial operations. You create a culture of ownership, collaboration, and results.
- Be the strategic partner for commercial leadership: You are the financial right hand of the Director of Inbound Sales & Marketing. You support decision-making on customer propositions, pricing, and revenue strategy—balancing profitability with market dynamics.
- Enable financial steering through commercial insight: You take ownership of forecasting, budgeting, monthly reporting, and margin analysis. You translate key commercial KPIs into actionable insights that accelerate sales and marketing performance including revenue growth and margin improvement.
- Champion data-driven improvements: You have an analytical mindset and initiate and lead improvement projects at the intersection of finance, sales, and pricing. You identify margin opportunities, customer value drivers, and help optimise our go-to-market approach.
- Connect the dots across functions: You bridge finance with sales, marketing, and operations—understanding the full customer journey from lead to revenue. You align stakeholders and build momentum behind shared commercial goals.
What you bring:
- At least 10 years of relevant experience, with a strong background in commercial/FP&A/finance business partnering roles or in banking or consulting environments with strong finance/business analysis skills.
- Excellent financial modelling and Excel/Power BI skills.
- Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field.
- Experience leading finance teams and guiding strategic decision-making.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to challenge and support senior stakeholders.
- Ability to bring structure and clarity in a dynamic, evolving environment.
- Fluency in English (Dutch is a plus).
- A proactive, business-minded approach focused on both short-term results and long-term value creation.
Your position in the organisation:
- Member of the Inbound Sales & Marketing MT.
- Primary sparring partner for the Director Inbound Sales & Marketing.
- Reporting to the Director Finance.
- Managing a team of 5–8 direct reports in Finance.
