We are looking for an experienced and driven Key Account Manager who will take responsibility for managing and expanding existing Key Accounts, as well as acquiring new customers. You will work within a dynamic and international environment, contributing to Coolrec’s long-term strategy.

Your mission:

As a Key Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and growing some 25 top international accounts. You will have direct contact with B2B customers and work with various internal departments to develop customer-focused solutions and close contracts.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Independently closing short-term and multi-year contracts, within established budgets, and monitoring rates and rate trends.
  • Advising customers on delivery of waste collection and processing solutions at higher volumes.
  • Formulating and implementing tactical operational sales activities and reconciling commercial data in the customer system.
  • Initiating customized consultations in consultation with various internal departments such as Operations, SHEQ and Back Office.
  • Contributing to the realization of industry plans, identifying market developments and thinking about new systems and methodologies.
  • Leading a (small) sales team and supporting regional sales colleagues in acquisition and cross- and upsell opportunities.
  • Contributing to the central commercial strategy, and developing new concepts and business models for Coolrec.

What do you Bring?

  • Master working and thinking level.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in (key) account management, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Strong communication skills in both French and English, both internally and externally.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex customer relationships and closing multi-year contracts.
  • Proactive attitude with a strategic understanding of market developments.
  • Ability to collaborate with various internal departments and stakeholders within the organization.
  • Willingness to work with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, sometimes balancing between competing interests.
