Senior ICT Buyer (full-time)

Location: Flexible, 2 x per week Eindhoven

Are you a strategic procurement expert ready to make impact at the heart of Renewi’s digital transformation? Join our Procurement team as Senior ICT Buyer and support our CIO and IT department in delivering high-value, futureproof systems and services. You’ll lead complex tenders, support ERP and system implementations, and bring structure and clarity to a fast-moving, dynamic environment.

Your mission:

• Procurement Leadership: You manage the full sourcing lifecycle for IT-related goods and services – from needs analysis to negotiation, contracting and implementation. You lead tenders, define requirements with stakeholders, and drive value from both commercial and technical perspectives.
• ERP & IT Project Support: You play a key role in major digital initiatives, such as the current big digital transformation with ERP implementations and other system rollouts. You ensure procurement is embedded early, and align vendors, timelines and contractual commitments.
• Stakeholder Collaboration & Challenge: You are a sparring partner for the CIO and key stakeholders. You navigate complex stakeholder landscapes, manage resistance, and help build consensus by combining listening skills with a firm yet diplomatic approach.
• Contract Management & Risk Control: You oversee supplier relationships, mitigate contractual and operational risks, and maintain clear governance in line with Renewi’s policies and compliance standards.
• Contribution to Strategic Procurement: You help evolve the maturity of ICT procurement within Renewi. You challenge the status quo, build internal alignment, and contribute to long-term sourcing strategies in line with business objectives.

What we believe will help you be successful in this role:

• Proven track record in IT/ICT procurement (7+ years), preferably within a complex or international environment.
• Experience with ERP and/or system implementation projects.
• Strong stakeholder management skills – you listen, challenge, and influence at all levels.
• Understanding of contract law, risk mitigation and commercial negotiation.
• Fluent in English; Dutch and/or French is a plus.
• Quick learner with a pragmatic mindset, who remains calm under pressure and complexity.

Your future team:

You will be part of the Procurement team and together with the HR Buyer you will be reporting into the Category Manager Indirect Spend.
