As a Data Business Partner, you will act as the primary interface between business stakeholders and the data organization. Your role will be to understand and represent the business's data demands, ensuring that the data team delivers solutions that drive value and align with strategic objectives.

What will you do?

• Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to gather, formulate, and prioritize data-related needs and opportunities;
• Act as a trusted advisor to the business, providing insights on how data solutions can address challenges and unlock value;
• Translate business demands into clear requirements and use cases for the data organization;
• Drive awareness of available data assets within the organization and identify opportunities for improvement of existing solutions;
• Work closely with data teams, including Product Owner, Data Manager & Process Lead, to ensure alignment on deliverables and priorities;
• Monitor the delivery of data solutions, ensuring they meet business expectations and are implemented effectively;
• Establish and maintain a trusted partnership by supporting and guiding stakeholders in addressing their data needs and identifying opportunities to leverage data for business growth and innovation;
• Promote data literacy across the organization by advocating for data-driven decision-making and providing guidance on the use of data tools and insights;
• Identify opportunities for improving data processes, systems, and governance to better meet business needs;
• Facilitate communication between the business and data teams, ensuring transparency and alignment on goals and objectives.

What do we ask of you?

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience;
• At least 5 years of experience in a role interfacing between business and data, such as Business Partner, Data Analyst or Data Consultant.
• Strong understanding of data management principles, including governance, quality, and analytics;
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business language;
• Proven experience in driving data initiatives that deliver measurable business value;
• Familiarity with data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and analyzing trends in data is a plus;
• Strong problem-solving skills and a result oriented approach;
• Experience and/or affinity with Agile methodologies, including familiarity with SAFe and Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) principles, ensuring alignment and delivery across multiple teams and value streams;
• You are proficient in communication in English and preferably also Dutch.
