Business Data Lead
(Based in Eindhoven, some travelling)

“Renewi’s Fit for the Future" encompasses the business transformation to a waste to product company to support our contribution towards a circular economy, by harmonizing Renewi's business activities across our divisions on a standard "Digital Core" of systems, data, and processes for the benefit of the business. For the success of this transformation, a consistent definition of Data and an agreed-upon Data cleansing and migration plan are essential. Clear direction from the business on the Data requirements is necessary.

The goal of the Business Data Lead is to translate the reporting and management information needs into data requirements (availability, structure, hierarchy, etc.), establish the necessary data infrastructure and set up our Data Governance (Data cleansing and migration, Master data governance, MDM tool).

Your new team:

You will become part of the Group Transformation Office and work closely with the Transformation Director. You will need to work closely with UT Data architects on one hand, and with business/finance stakeholders on the other hand, in order to establish the data definitions. For cleaning up and migrating data to the Digital Core, close collaboration with the IT Delivery manager Digital Core, Global Business Process Owners and Business leaders in Business and Finance is necessary.

Your biggest responsibilities and results:

• Create a Data & MI-roadmap within the Digital Core programme.
• Adopted Data Governance Process and Council.
• Defined target data structure and hierarchies within the Digital Core programme.
• Defined data cleansing roadmap within the Digital Core programme.
• Drive and organise data migration and quality monitoring within the Digital Core programme.

What makes you the Business Data Lead we're looking for?

• You have a University level of education and at least 5 years of experience in a similar role in large change and/or systems improvement programs.
• Experience with setting up data governance, master data management.
• You have excellent command of Excel and Power BI and can condense large amounts of data into clear dashboards.
• You are fluent in English and have some proficiency in Dutch.
• You enjoy bringing structure and know how to convey it to your stakeholders, are analytically strong, can think conceptually, and combine this with a hands-on mentality.
• You understand the dynamics of rapidly changing organizations and processes, and because you are communicatively strong with both persuasion and a likability factor, you achieve visible results.
