DevOps Engineer Asset Management (Ultimo)

Fulltime, BE

As a DevOps Engineer in Asset Management, you'll optimize asset utilization across four divisions, handling diverse assets from trucks to chemical installations. Leveraging Ultimo, you troubleshoot issues, enhance processes, and bridge business-IT gaps, collaborating closely across teams for top-notch service delivery. Seamlessly balancing daily support with long-term Ultimo improvements, you tackle complex problems with analytical prowess and excel in our dynamic environment.

Delving into the business domain, you identify bottlenecks and propose tech-driven solutions, aligning stakeholders for optimal outcomes. You craft precise requirements, guide technological lifecycles, and manage change impact, ensuring seamless integration with our applications.

Your support spans Business/Product Owners and fellow DevOps Engineers, refining epics, participating in testing, and overseeing User Acceptance Tests. Your multifaceted involvement across these levels underscores your essential role and brings diversity and fulfillment to your workdays.

What will you do?

As DevOps Engineer Asset Management you have several responsibilities to ensure that Ultimo runs and is used optimally and complies with organization standards. Some of these responsibilities include:

• You are the bridge between our IT organisation and business (operation).
• You collaborate with business owners, epic owners and other internal stakeholders to validate requirements and acceptance criteria.
• You operate as second line support for end users with subject matter related questions about the applications in your domain.
• You are responsible for the configuration of Ultimo to ensure it runs optimally.
• You are responsible for developing alternative solutions and determining the impact in line with the intended enterprise architecture.
• You oversee the execution of system and process modifications and evaluate the results to ensure the desired improvements are achieved.

Compensation & benefits

• You have several years of work experience as an application specialist and have in depth knowledge of Ultimo.
• You have experience in a DevOps environment or affinity and knowledge of the DevOps model.
• You have experience with Agile work, an ITIL background, and experience in life-cycle management?
• You are proficient in communication in English and preferably also Dutch.
• You have knowledge of Azure.
