Head of Finance
Drive performance. Shape the future of circular electronics.
Head of Finance
Full-time | Hybrid | Flexible base
location (Waalwijk, Dordrecht)
At Renewi, we believe waste does not exist. Within our E-waste business, we are unlocking the value of discarded electronics—turning complex waste streams into critical raw materials for the future.
E-waste is one of the fastest growing waste streams globally, driven by digitisation, stricter regulation and increasing scarcity of critical materials. Within Renewi, E-waste is a strategically important business unit covering the full value chain: collection, processing and high quality recycling of electronic waste.
As Head of Finance E-waste, you operate at the heart of this transformation. You combine financial leadership with sharp business insight and act as the strategic finance partner to the Managing Director E-waste. Together, you steer performance, enable growth and build a future-proof, data-driven business in one of the fastest-growing recycling segments.
Your Mission
- Lead & develop a high-performing finance function You build, lead and inspire a finance team supporting an international, asset-intensive business. You drive a culture of ownership, performance and continuous improvement.
- Strategic partner to the Managing Director E-waste You are the financial right hand of the MD. You challenge and support on strategy, investments, commercial decisions and long-term value creation—balancing growth, risk and return.
- Drive performance through insight You own forecasting, budgeting, reporting and performance management across the E-waste business. You translate operational and commercial data into clear insights that steer margin, cash and capital efficiency.
- Enable commercial and operational excellence You work across the full value chain—from collection to processing and recycling. You identify value drivers, optimise pricing and contracts, and improve asset utilisation in a complex, regulated environment.
- Lead transformation and professionalisation You initiate and lead improvement programs across finance, systems and ways of working. You help further professionalise the business and embed a data-driven performance culture.
- Connect across functions and stakeholders You bridge finance with operations, commercial teams and group functions. You align stakeholders and ensure strong governance, compliance and decision-making.
