As we embark on a strategic transformation of our revenue management, we are seeking a dynamic and data-driven Senior Manager Pricing & Portfolio to help reshape how we create, price, and manage value across our customer base and product lines.
What will you do?
This role is pivotal in developing and executing a robust pricing and portfolio strategy that aligns with Renewi’s strategic objectives. You will be responsible for optimizing pricing structures, identifying portfolio value drivers, and introducing data-driven insights into commercial decision-making. You will also play a leading role in defining the governance around product lifecycle management and value-based pricing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shape our Pricing Strategy: You design and implement pricing strategies across multiple segments and sectors to optimize margin, volume, and competitiveness. With a strong market-back approach, you consider customer needs, willingness to pay, and market dynamics to build commercially smart pricing frameworks. You champion value-based and segmented pricing models, factoring in customer behavior, cost-to-serve, competitive dynamics, and price elasticity to strike the right balance between growth and profitability.
- Lead Portfolio Management with Insight: You take ownership of the full product portfolio lifecycle—from introduction to rationalization—ensuring it aligns with strategic goals and market needs. You stay closely attuned to competitor offerings and emerging market trends, identifying gaps, threats, and opportunities. Working cross-functionally with Logistics, Sustainability, Sales, and Innovation teams, you help evolve our product mix to ensure relevance, value, and differentiation. You know when to reposition, bundle, reprice, or retire underperforming products based on data and business value.
- Drive Revenue and Margin Insights: You work hand-in-hand with Finance and Data teams to build pricing dashboards, define key performance indicators, and ensure transparent reporting. You track the impact of pricing and portfolio initiatives and validate ROI through clear, data-driven insights. Your work supports forecasting, scenario modeling, and continuous improvement in our margin performance.
- Influence, Align, and Lead Change: You act as a strategic advisor to Sales, Marketing, and senior leadership on pricing and portfolio decisions. You’re a catalyst for shifting the organization toward more commercially and data-driven revenue management. You lead by example—training commercial teams in pricing governance, coaching on value articulation, and embedding a stronger pricing mindset across the business.
What do we ask of you?
- You have a strong academic and professional foundation, ideally holding a Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or another analytical or commercial discipline.
- You bring over 10 years of experience in pricing, product management, or revenue management, ideally within complex B2B sectors like industrial services, logistics, or environmental industries.
- You collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Finance, and Innovation. Your expertise also includes P&L management, pricing governance, and driving commercial transformation.
- Your technical toolkit includes advanced Excel skills and fluency in BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau. You’re comfortable working with pricing and revenue optimization platforms like Vendavo, PROS, or Pricefx, and have working knowledge of ERP/CRM systems (e.g., SAP, Salesforce) and their role in product and pricing data flows.
- You are fluent in Dutch, with additional language skills in English. You’re a clear communicator and confident presenter, capable of turning complex data into actionable insights that drive commercial impact.
