Adrie - Key Accountmanager

I am Adrie Zandee. I started at Renewi (then Van Gansewinkel) in August 1999. In April of that year, I quit my previous employer. This was a temporary employment agency. Then I went to Spain for a few months to learn Spanish. Through this temp agency, I came into contact with Van Gansewinkel - a client of mine - and I always liked that company. After my time in Spain, I was able to get an interview at Van Gansewinkel through this temporary employment agency. I liked it. I applied for an inside sales representative, but I went out as a field account manager.

Meanwhile, I have been working here with great pleasure for 25 years. My role is customer management and bringing in new customers. The logistics sector is my focus. I really enjoy seeing how we manage to bind more and more logistics companies to us and how we can offer them sustainable solutions with great savings. I am married and have three children, including two bonus children. Travelling, eating out, shopping and having drinks with friends are among my favourite hobbies.

Business-wise, I am proud of the sustainable course our company is taking and the great customers we manage to retain. Privately, of course, I am most proud of my family.

We are currently working on an interesting project where we are helping to reduce CO2 emissions by using electric vehicles for waste collection. It is great to see how our company is constantly innovating and evaluating.

Despite working here for 25 years, my job actually still always feels fresh and challenging. I am lucky with my great colleagues and the nice working atmosphere. I can definitely recommend working for Renewi to anyone!
