Paul - Freight Exchange Planner

I'm Paul, I live in Belgium I have three sons and a dog. I work as a Freight Exchange Planner at Renewi, where I am responsible for planning and coordinating routes for our truck drivers.

Caring for the environment is an important part of my work at Renewi. As a planner, I can directly contribute to sustainability by planning efficient routes and avoiding empty kilometres. This not only has a positive effect on the environment, but also gives me a sense of pride and purpose in my work.

In addition to my operational tasks, I also take into account the latest developments and legislation in the sector. For example, more and more administrative processes are being digitised, allowing us to reduce paper consumption and centralise information. I work closely with my team and the drivers to align everyone and make these changes run smoothly.

The good atmosphere within Renewi makes this process a lot easier. Everyone knows each other and is always willing to have a chat, which benefits cooperation. Besides my work, I also find time to go running regularly, which helps me stay fit and clear my head.

All in all, I really enjoy my work at Renewi. I can use my existing skills, but I am also challenged to grow with the latest developments. Moreover, I contribute directly to a more sustainable future.
