Are you an experienced IT professional with a strong interest and background in (human) resource management en team development? Do you want to help mold and develop our IT organisation by identifying needs and competencies within our IT teams? Then we are looking for you!

IT Resource & Competency Manager

Fulltime, NL (Eindhoven) or BE (Lommel)

The IT Resource & Competency Manager (RCM) is responsible for identifying, developing, assessing, and optimizing employees’ skills, abilities, and behaviors.
The Resource & Competency Manager helps Product Owners and Scrum Masters with planning and allocating resources for the Development Value Streams within the IT organisation.

The RCM determines an organization's demand for resources and ensures its capacity to meet staffing needs of the virtual team (Development Value Streams); assigns employees to a project's tasks; and participates in the hiring process.

The Resource & Competency Manager facilitates the Performance Management process; the Year End Assessment and the Mid-Year Review, together with the CoE Director.

Core tasks

  • Personal Skill Gap Analysis.
  • Personal Development Planning.
  • Performance Planning.
  • Organizational Skill Health Analysis (Mood + eNPS).
  • Predict Training Demand.
  • Forecast on Capacity planning.
  • Negotiate the objectives and resources.

Your profile

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Information Technology or Information.
  • Management, HR or comparable work experience.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in people management.
  • Experience in training & competency activities.
  • Experience in resource management (planning, rostering).
  • Experience in regulatory oversight activities.
  • Understanding workforce planning, experience is an advantage.
  • Experience in interpreting (HR) rules would be a strong asset.
  • Project management skills.
