Social Media Expert
Based in Eindhoven / Puurs / Lommel or Gent / hybrid / fulltime

We’re not looking for ‘someone to handle our socials’ . We’re looking for a Social Media Expert who can turn strategy into strong content – and engagement into lasting reputation.

What you’ll do:
You’ll drive engagement and visibility—both paid and organic—by leading our social media strategy with an eye for data, timing, and impact. You will:

  • Analyse our audiences and competitors to sharpen and evolve our strategy
  • Manage day-to-day content creation, publishing, and community engagement
  • Create (or direct the creation of) compelling posts, visuals and videos that match our brand and the moment
  • Lead our content calendar and collaborate with Marketing, Sales and PR to deliver integrated campaigns
  • Run social media campaigns, measure their performance, and translate outcomes into strategic recommendations
  • You lead and grow ProudNewi – our employee ambassador platform – turning colleagues into powerful brand advocates, inside and out.

What you bring:

  • A relevant bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years of experience in digital communications, social media or content marketing
  • Strong copywriting skills with a keen eye for visuals—whether you create or guide others, you make sure it lands
  • You’re confident with data and know how to use metrics to learn and adjust
  • Curiosity and knowledge about social media and digital trends, tools and platforms
  • Independent, structured way of thinking and working with a good sense of initiative
  • Fluency in English and Dutch, French is a plus
  • Familiarity with tools like Canva, Adobe, Midjourney, Costoo or similar
